This band has won nineteen Latin Grammy Awards and two Grammy awards, and now holds the record for the most Latin Grammys won. Formed by stepbrothers Rene Joglar and Eduardo Martinez and their sister Ileana, Calle 13 is a band famed for its satirical, and sometimes controversial, lyrics, as well as eclectic style and instrumentation. Calling themselves Residente and Visitante after the neighborhood culture they grew up in, each artist has different influences that they are drawn to. The duo has collaborated with artists such as Three Six Mafia and Mexican comedy writer Roberto Gomez Bolanos.
