Proving that hard work and raw talent really can provide the impetus for success, Debo Band has risen from playing alongside streets and basements to critically acclaimed international festivals. Providing a unique interpretation of 1970s Ethiopian music to places ranging from Boston to the Horn of Africa, Debo Band is starting to switch their focus from live performances to also incorporate album production. Debo Band has been featured in an Ethiopian-produced short film and is currently producing a CD of its live performances.
